Returns

At Hurdbuilt, we stand behind the quality of every product we sell. To ensure a smooth return experience, our policy aligns with the requirements of our suppliers, including SSV Works, Cognito Motorsports, and others.

Return Eligibility

  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days of the original purchase or shipment date.

  • Items must be returned unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and in resalable condition in the original packaging, including all accessories, documentation, and components.

  • Custom or special-order items, as well as any product that has been installed, modified, or damaged, are not eligible for return.

Return Authorization Required (RA/RMA)

All returns require a Return Authorization Number (RA or RMA) before they are shipped back:

  1. Request Authorization: Contact us at [your email] or call [your number] to request an RA number.

  2. Include RA Number: Clearly write the RA number on the outside of the shipping carton and include it on any paperwork inside.

  3. Unauthorized Returns: Returns sent without prior authorization or an RA number may be refused and returned to sender.

Shipping Responsibility

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

  • We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method.

  • Hurdbuilt is not liable for returns lost or damaged during transit.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Restocking Fees

  • If items are returned in resalable condition, no restocking fee may apply.

  • Items not meeting resalable standards may incur a restocking or repackaging fee of 15–30%, depending on the condition of the product.

  • Items received in non-salable condition may be refused or returned at the customer’s expense.

Refund Process

  • Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment once the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved.

  • Please allow 3–5 business days for inspection and an additional 7–10 business days for refunds to reflect on your account.

  • For check payments, refunds may be issued by check within 10 business days of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

  • Claims for missing or damaged items must be made within 5 business days of receiving your order.

  • If your shipment arrives visibly damaged, refuse delivery and contact us immediately.

  • For concealed damage, retain all original packaging and file a claim with the carrier within 24 hours.

  • Always sign freight deliveries as "Subject to Inspection" to preserve the right to claim concealed damage.

Where to Send Returns

We will provide the correct return address depending on the vendor associated with your order (e.g., SSV Works or Cognito Motorsports). This information will be included when your RA number is issued.


Important Notes:

  • Returns sent without RA numbers or outside the 30-day window will be refused.

  • Items must be shipped to the designated return facility with the RA number clearly marked.
